Noodles For Life

Old Beliefs

Shiny Brain Crayons

‘Old Beliefs’ is the punchy third single by emerging alternative indie punk duo Shiny Brain Crayons. The song hypnotises like a snake charmer, enticing the mind to break free of the limiting cycles shackling us to our habits and grow into our future selves. Groove-based riffs, stark drums and driving guitar licks build into dark electronic beats - Welcome to the signature sound of Shiny Brain Crayons. Delving deeper into the human psyche, 2024 is the time to reflect, move forward and ‘scratch off the Old Beliefs’; confronting us to ask ourselves ‘what are you standing for?’ After gaining international radio and blog features in the US, UK, Europe and Asia with previous single Noodles For Life, the band hit back with a refreshing new years reminder. Championing creativity and abstract introspection, Old Beliefs follows SBC’s message of psychology, meditation and self-empowerment. Award winning producer/multi-instrumentalist Stergin weaves music, effects and simplicity against a crunchy energetic sound world that will soon captivate across the hip-hop, electronic, indie and punk audiences.

Saweeet Summer Nights

Shiny Brain Crayons

Saweeet Summer Nights is the 6th single from south London alternative-indie/post-punk duo Shiny Brain Crayons. Get the candles out. Saweeet is a nostalgic trip when Space Invader sweets rules, summer nights stretched into eternity and intimate fleeting memories become cornerstones of later life. An ode to people loved and lost, endured and enamoured, this song is a meditative therapeutic singalong in pastel shades of post-punk. Less stylised poem speeches and more reflective, winding, harmonised melodies, producer Stergin and singer Marianne showcase their diversity with grace without losing their bombastic style. Abstract lyrical leanings take us on a journey that rewinds the clock and paints a stop-motion animation in your mind. This tender pop-country tinged indie tune deviates from their usually trashy, messy uptempo and explosive offerings.

Perfect

Shiny Brain Crayons

‘Perfect’ takes you by the neck, screaming into the dance music world, and showers you with Shiny Brain glitter. The energy of Perfect Exceeder has now morphed into a sexual, provocative strip-tease, purring in your ear. Taking pleasure and playfulness to the max, SBC reminds you that we are all perfect in our own imperfect way. Your kinks? They’re perfect. Your body? It’s perfect. Your moves? They’re perfect. Thumping, rock-inspired dance music, it is fresh and scintillating, whispering sweet nothings, saying everything that you want to hear. Perfectly at home on the workout playlist or house party banger for the end of the night…anything goes. ‘Perfect’ is the second of several releases for Shiny Brain Crayons in 2026.

Shiny Brain Crayons re-introduce themselves reflecting with a mature and simpler approach to music making, and the industry. Keeping the laidback vocals and swapping guitars for a dancier leaning, So Alive dares you not to jump around. Paying homage to Doechii, Animal Collective, Fcukers, and The Source (Aka life energy, not the 90s British band) , SBC are “calling in the karma” for their next big move. So Alive is the third of several releases for Shiny Brain Crayons in 2026.
