Armour of Love

Wayman

Suris

With a wistful and melancholic tone, ‘Wayman’ tells the tale of a love too late to rekindle. It’s a story told with grace rather than bitterness—a quiet acceptance of love lost to time. Lots of layered guitars and Pianos.

Last Train Home

Suris

Quietly insistent rhythm - the music feels cinematic, with shimmering guitar lines and delicate layers of synths suggesting both nostalgia and hope. It’s the sound of dusk meeting dawn, of perspective earned through time. Consider this for long journeys, returning home to a sense of freedom and belonging. Stems available. From our album 'Pertinax'.

Whole

Suris

A response of defiance for the personal plight of women trapped behind closed doors - to women of all nations, resisting and unbended. We invited many of our female friends to join us in solidarity for the final chorus. Classical Piano arrangement with orchestra (no guitar!). Stems available. From our album 'Pertinax'.

Take All She Brings

Suris

The sentiment is about how complicated (and wonderful) a package we can all be. This is a classic guitar-riffy pop-rock track which would sit well in any 70's / 80's context. Stems available. From our album 'Pertinax'.

Eruption

Suris

With a lovely 3/4 swing, this short track cuts deep lyrically. Sickened by the hubris of those the nations have gifted with power, it's a reminder that ultimately, in democracies, we can change the decision makers. Stems available. From our album 'Pertinax'.

Mended

Suris

Mysterious and memorable 'oriental' opening riff begins this slow-build dark-sounding track - which ends up quite differently with an upbeat anthemic pop-rock sound. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi - something mended can be more beautiful than something that's never been broken. Stems available. From our album 'Pertinax'.
